Home JukeBox Company was started in 1972 almost by accident.  I had a very large collection of records at the time but was frustrated because my little record player  only held eight records.  My brother was tired of my constant complaints and brought home an old Wurlitzer 1700.  Of course, it wasn't working.  In those days, it was not easy to find parts, owners' manuals, etc.  After a month of tinkering--success!  The jukebox has been playing ever since.  This...as they say...was just the beginning.

A thirst for the jukes had developed and needed to be quenched.  I soon acquired more jukeboxes and began working with them. My mechanical education came from my father, who was a craftsman in all he did. 

The electronics training came, courtesy of the Air Force and a community college degree. Combined, they provided all that was needed to improve the acquired jukes.

Launched officially in 1991, Home JukeBox Company has since repaired or restored over 300 jukeboxes, wallboxes and speakers.

In the late 1990's, there was an increasing demand for Wurlitzer wireless hardware.   Thus began  component building that would fit with  customer needs. 

To date, our products include replacement components for almost EVERY Wurlitzer wireless system.  We continue to grow and develop new products to suit YOUR needs.
